Umm Al Quwain National Bank won the Emirates Competitiveness Council (NAFES) Award in its third cycle for the year 2024-2025, in the small establishments category, in recognition of the bank’s efforts in raising Emiratization rates, empowering Emirati talents, and supporting the path of economic diversification and sustainable development in the UAE.

National Bank of Umm Al Quwain continues to play a pivotal role in developing national talent within the UAE's banking and financial sector through its Emiratization programs, specialized training initiatives, and a work culture that fosters innovation and inclusivity. This award underscores National Bank of Umm Al Quwain's commitment to implementing the directives of the wise leadership aimed at enhancing the participation of Emirati citizens in the private sector and developing career paths that contribute to their long-term development and empowerment.

It is worth mentioning that the Nafes program, which was launched as part of the 50 projects in 2021, plays a pivotal role in supporting localization efforts by providing effective tools and well-thought-out initiatives that contribute to attracting, training and developing Emirati talents to enable them to contribute to the development and leadership of the country, in line with the directives of the wise leadership to enhance the participation of national talents in the private sector.
