NBQ Achieves PCI DSS 4.0.1 Certification

The National Bank of Umm Al Qaiwain (NBQ) has successfully achieved certification for PCI DSS 4.0.1, the latest international standard for payment card data security, reaffirming the bank’s commitment to safeguarding customer information and maintaining the highest levels of data protection. The transition from the previous version of the standard underscores NBQ’s proactive approach to cybersecurity and its determination to stay ahead of evolving digital risks. By aligning its systems and processes with the enhanced requirements of PCI DSS 4.0.1, NBQ has further strengthened its internal security controls to ensure a secure environment for every customer transaction and to protect sensitive personal and financial data.
